Canyon Straight Leg Pant

Great pants

I’ve only tried the pants on but they’re going with me to Colorado soon. I can wear them as they are and with roam leggings underneath. They are ultralight weight but I like that I have the option of how I wear them. They are ankle length on me at 5’5,”which I love. I’m wearing my regular wool& size for pants. I love the olive color. I don’t know how fragile they are for things like hiking due to their weight.

Great travel pant, not so great trail pant.

I bought the Canyon Straight Leg Pant with the intention of backpacking in them across Olympic National Park. The breathability and comfort of the pant are 5 stars; however, the durability of the pant (for me) is 2 stars. I loved that the pant was high waisted and my backpack hip belt was comfortable and didn't cut into my hips. The stretch of the fabric is great. I loved that there was extra fabric in the thighs because it ultimately kept my legs cooler. However, on my 7 day backpacking trip, I got half a dozen snags in the pants and two hole punctures. Wayward blackberry vines are merciless on the fabric! Overall, I like the pant, but it's not a trail pant (at least not in the PNW).

Love them!

I had the black and loved them so much I wanted another pair and was fortunate to snag the olives after being sold out. They fit beautifully, and at 5’2” the length works without hemming. I love them so much they’ve replaced my beloved Brooklyn pants from Athleta. They wear well, no wrinkling, and wash and air dry beautifully. I was comfortable even in 80+ temps. They’ll be great for vacation capsules! Now, please make them in navy! At 5’2” 125# the XS is perfect so I’d say they run on the larger side.
