Im not convinced its made with nylon and not polyester. I cannot wear anything made with polyester becasue it makes me over heat. Thats exactly how the pants feel when I wear them walking; like the heat is getting trapped, due to the lack of breathability of the fabric.

Pants that fit!
It’s difficult for me to fine pants that fit nicely. I have narrow hips compared to my waist size. I can’t stand having anything tight across my stomach. These Canyon pants fit comfortably around my waist and are not too baggy through the hips and thighs. The length is good for a cropped pant, they hit top of the ankle bone on me. The fabric is a very stretchy tech fabric but doesn’t make any swishy noise when walking. They dry super fast, too!

Wanted to love but will wait for Canyon Pants v3.0
I really wanted to love these pants but I ended up sending them back. I did like the fabric as it's nice and light and I believe would do well for both active pursuits like hiking and yet looks nice enough to walk around a city and not look like you're wearing hiking pants. The fit is better than the previous Canyon Pants - it's now a bit slimmer fit which I needed. However, the back pockets are shallow and without a zipper, pretty useless. The front pockets are deep but ideally, there'd be a hidden zippered pocket in the front too. Zippered pockets are just so useful - I wish more pants & skorts had them! I'm not sure if the rise was too high for me but the fit across the area from my belly button to my hip bone just seems pronounced in front. At first I thought it was b/c of where the top of my underwear landed but even with ultra high rise undies, I felt like my little jelly roll was very pronounced and I felt self conscious. I don't have that on most of my other pants. I am 5'2", about 130 lbs and had purchased a size M and the length was too long. Perhaps if these were sized for petites, both the length and the rise might be a better fit for me. Meanwhile, I'm sadly returning them and waiting for version 3.0 to come out.
