I’ve tried merino underwear in the past but never have had good luck with them: odd fit, too loose, too warm, etc. I’ve been an Ibex fan so I thought I’d give their 4” boxer briefs a try. First trying them on I thought they may be a bit too tight in the waist (5’11”, 195#, big quads, 34” waist, size large in these) then discovered they will stretch a bit with wearing. Thus far I have found them to be very comfortable throughout, extremely breathable, not swampy, no stink, and the legs don’t ride up (at least on me). I thought I might need an XL but now I think they would be too loose upon wearing. I’m impressed enough and have ordered a few more pair. I can’t speak about durability just yet but they do seem very well constructed. They’ve been washed following instructions and have not shrunk. Tremendous fabric and very well made.
