Most people probably don't think there's a much of a difference between one set of leather laces and another, but since using Guarded Goods' laces, I've learned there definitely is. So far, I see none of the wear from stress at the eyelets and speed hooks that is typical of most of the other leather laces I've used. They are very strong, but at the same time, extremely flexible, and lace and tie as easily as cloth laces, while still providing that little bit of stretch that makes my boots (breaking in a new pair) even more comfortable. A great product at a reasonable price.
