Hot Launch Max D Ironwoods (Left Hand)

72 years old, 12 handicap. Have been using been using 4 to 7 hybrids. Hit them much better than my irons. Started having difficulty hitting 8 & 9 irons. Bought Tour Edge Hot Launch D Ironwoods. They are OUTSTANDING. Very easy to hit. Highly recommended to all golfers who want to hit, what I believe, are the easiest iron/hybrids on the market.

I’ve moved up from my E521 Ironwoods and have gained about 5 yards per club with increased accuracy. Today was my first session in the studio with FlightScope since they arrived, so I was looking forward to a long session. Maybe I’ll do another review after we’ve gotten better aquatinted. I’d say spin is maybe 300-500 RPM less and slightly lower descent angle but it’s a work in progress. Despite that, hitting green after green is a very satisfying experience…even if it is on GSPro.

Love how easy it is to adjust lie angle, length, and loft before ordering! I purchased the Max D 7 iron, and from the first day on the course, I’m amazed at the effortless launch and lift of this club! I definitely will order the entire iron set now. This 63 year old left hander is impressed!
