Virtual Class - Hive Splits

The class was very helpful. Blake explained very detailed all the steps to successful split a hive.

My husband & I took the on-line class a few days before we had to do our split to the swarm we caught last year. That hive was so big it had 4 brood boxes on it so finding the queen was easy and we were able to split that hive into 3 smaller hives and added 2 new queens. This was the first time we have ever split a hive and found the unmarked queen. It was EASY to do. We are loving it. In the evenings we go outside and sit to watch all the bees flying in and out. LOVE DOING IT!! :)

This class is well presented with lots of great information. I can't wait to try out my new knowledge this spring.
