The included kits sound great already and feels more "live" thanks to good use of Addictive Drums 2 onboard effects. You can always easily tweak each sound and also mix them to crate your own perfect vintage drum machine kit.

Reel Deal

AD2 is now my only VST for drums. For me, it was the easiest to learn among all the that ive tried. Along with Studio One, I have a complete kit set up and routed in less than 5 seconds. Click>Drag>..Go. The samples themselves are killer. Being a rock guy, my favs are the "Black Velvet", and the "United Heavy" AdPacks. And with this Reel Machines", i can cover some of the 80s pop hits ive been wanting to try. I've never used the real instruments that this kit emulates, but it definitely has a lot of familiar sounds that I remember. Good stuff from XLN!
