u-he Hive 2

Good soft synth, great MPE capabilities

To be honest I purchased Hive 2 mostly to be able to use the Expressive E Osmose expressive suite patches for this particular synth. The Osmose MPE patches are just amazing but Hive 2 also makes it really easy to infuse some MPE flavour into your own sounds or sprinkle some expressive flourishes into factory patches. Hive 2 sounds really good and is relatively easy to get around. It might not become my go to soft synth but it is an amazing addition to my toolkit.

The synth thaf can do it all

If you are looking for a synth that can do any type of sound in a very high quality then don't look any further. Hive 2 is extremely complete and absolutely sounds the part. The modulation capabilities are very extensive and the effects nothing less than amazing. 5 stars easily!

Decent softsynth

My Z3TA+ 2 modern replacement with decent on-board effects. And a built-in oscilloscope. Supports skins. Interesting UHM wavetable language. UI is not so intuitive and is challenging.
