Amazing library for medieval RPG music

I bought this library to use for a medieval mobile RPG, and it’s fantastic. I was tasked with creating music in a style that mixes Irish and Scottish folk with fantasy orchestral elements. This library allowed me to focus purely on composition because the sounds are so high-quality. I didn't have to spend much time on the mixing process to get everything to sit perfectly in the same space. I highly recommend it, especially when used alongside other EastWest libraries.

No LOTR Required

I bought this on impulse, to be honest. I expected the usual generic "fantasy" strings with semi-realistic textures, but I was surprised by the quality and the well-curated collection of instruments that steps outside the standard orchestral palette although there are a couple of orchestral sections. Viola da Gamba, Lute, Fiddle, Dulcimer — all very nicely captured and enhanced. These bring a warm, folk-infused character of old music that sits beautifully in any mix. The well-programmed moods swiftly accommodate performance at will. All in usual EastWest fashion. At the discounted price, this was a no-brainer. You don't have to score Lord of the Rings to use this library — just use its timbres and articulations in any composition, orchestral or not, and you'll be rewarded.
