Pretty nice carrier overall

Overall, the carrier is very good, holds the rated weight easily. I added reflective strips to the sides and bottom for higher visibility. This is mounted on a 2024 Rav4, the carrier partially blocks the tail lights, so I'm using towing lights if the carrier is folded up, easy solution. I had to repair the carrier upon arrival, the walls of the cargo area were bent during shipping, easy to straighten. After inspecting the carrier in detail, I had some of the welds redone and I needed to replace the 1/2-13 bolt with a longer one so I could use it with a nut to lock it in place for my own piece of mind. Assembly instructions are ok, but if you have any mechanical sense, you can figure it out. I used some locktite for my own piece of mind Assembly is a two person job.(attaching the ramp) Mounting on the vehicle is A TWO PERSON job. I'm using a engine hoist to lift and mount the carrier, I installed two tie down brackets for use with the chain when lifting. Other than the minor issues, I really like this carrier and plan to use it for more then just the mobility scooter
