It's more of a harmonics thing?
I have mixed feelings on this one. You can thicken something up with this if you apply sparingly. You can also mangle the heck out of anything you run through it. It's fun to mess with it on a synth or drum track that's almost there. The randomizer can get you some interesting/useful results, rather than the dying cat sounds created by lots of other randomizers. It seems more useful as a sound design tool than a mixing tool. I rarely remember I have this. It's usually on sale for around $9. It's 10 years old, which isn't a bad thing as it has been maintained, but in that amount of time Melda hasn't released a single demo video, demo track, audio example, tutorial, or any other media I can find on YT or the actual product page. The only 'Famous Musicians Who Use This' testimonial on the product page for this plugin is actually for a different plugin. Like me, I think Melda routinely forgets this plugin, too. It's just kind of off in its own little vacuum. If you think you need this, please try the demo. It could be your secret weapon. It could also be your "why did I buy this?"
