not so small, but definitely mighty
I have had this sleeping bag for almost a year now, and I love it. The 2 layer system means I get to throw a cover off if I’m hot and put it back on if I’m chilly. I can move my legs around the roomy bottom which is essential to getting a good sleep (for me)! My husband makes fun of how big it is but I’ve figured out how to minimize it in my backpack- I have it unzipped and I literally gently punch/shove it into the bottom part of my backpacking backpack. I don’t use the stuff sack it came with. That has made it so much easier to pack! It’s also very easy to wash! But now for the real review- we just went on our first trip of the year to the backcountry and as we were unpacking my husband realized he didn’t bring his sleeping bag 🫠. I had my glorious huge sleeping bag which *could be unzipped* and so we slept on our sleeping pads, with the rumpl sleeping bag unzipped on us like a duvet cover. It saved our trip basically! w edidkt have to go home. The sleeping pad helped us not be too cold on the ground (it got down to about 6°C at night), and the rumpl bag kept us genuinely warm and cozy all night. Our trip was awesome and nighttime wasn’t cold once we were cozied up under the rumpl. I’m now trying to figure out if I can stuff a rumpl blanket into my kit 😋 Thanks rumpl!

Love it
Just got this new sleeping bag. I am a warm sleeper so I love the flexibility of having one layer or two. My last couple sleeping bags have been mommy bags, but I find them restrictive. This bag has room to stretch out for me and my dog. It's warm and comfy. Well made. My only negative is that it is on the heavier and bulkier side of things.
