Mega Jazz - Hybrid

On my Quest for Pick Of Destiny for guitar, this is Rico’s choice # 2. I play multiple styles of music Jazz/Metal/Blues/R&B/ Folk & Classical guitar. I have bought so many different picks from all brands, different shapes, sizes and materials! Overall great pick with an amazing pick attack, the sharp tip helps you maintain high speeds while still obtaining great accuracy.

Great pick, unique feel and texture

This is my second time ordering the Mega Jazz Hybrid picks from Howling Monkey. I liked the first set so much that I decided to stock up a bit. The good: excellent feel and texture. I like a thick, stiff pick and these fit the bill. The material feels very different from other heavy picks like acrylic. It has a texture to it that imparts a really solid attack. The hole in the middle also helps keep my sweaty fingers from slipping. The Ok: They seem to wear down a little faster than the super thick acrylic picks I used to use. It’s not super dramatic, but I have one that is pretty rounded out already. Overall, love the picks, plan to keep using them and will order more when these wear out.
