Hook and Hackle Gauge

Lines are Off

The hook guide is fine, although I already categorize my hooks, so it's unnecessary. My complaint is in the Hackle Gauge: the lines are a quarter inch or so too high above the standoff with which you would place the hackle, meaning it doesn't give even remotely accurate measures. I tested it with size 14 and it lined up just below 20.

Good hook and hackle gauge.

This is the third time I have purchased the hackle gauge.. I end up giving to new tiers. I will continue to purchase as the need presents itself.

Had to file the face plate to properly fit my standard vise arm.
