Grip tips good idea, but they just don’t quite line up perfectly.

Entry Level, But Not Great

Works well on larger hackle feathers (14 and larger); I have had issues with it sliding off of smaller hackle feathers (18, 20 - tying Griffith's Gnats and small parachutes) despite being 'non-skid'.

Worth the price

I've been using a cheap hackle plier with so -so results. This plier makes it much easier by holding onto the hackle without slipping. I recommend this product.
