The install went well in the driveway. The tricky thing for me was the front sway bar. I had to disconnect it on the opposite side to give room for the strut. The second strut went in well with the sway bar connected opposite side. Had to give some room for the longer strut. The plus 250 # rear springs work great for hauling 100 gallons of water on dirt roads. I was bummed that some of the part tags were not removed and were assembled into the struts. The new struts ride a bit stiffer than oem.

Solid suspension and great ground clearance
I lifted my 2016 Impreza in July of last year a month before moving to Alaska, I went with Flatout Suspension GR Lite coilovers and 350lbs overload springs and managed about 2.5" of lift over stock. Only 10 months and 10K miles later 3/4 coilovers blew out their seals and I was bouncing all over the road and ruining other suspension components due to the sagging suspension. I decided to go a different direction and pick something that would hopefully be more robust and offer more lift. This is for a 1st gen Crosstrek so the 1.5" lift translates to a 3.5" lift on an Impreza. Everything shipped quickly and was well packaged(shipping cost to Alaska was brutal) Install is straightforward and took myself and a friend a day to do along with new Crosstrek CV axles and Crosstrek LCAs. I'm very happy with the height and the ride quality, I'll update over time as hopefully these will last me much longer than my previous setup
