I bought my 30-minute hourglass as a way to use the Pomodoro Technique — but with a more stylish timekeeper than the timer on my iPhone clock or some other mechanical or electronic device. I know the Pomodoro Technique is usually based on a 25-minute time segment, but I’m perfectly happy using the 30-minute timer for that.
