Not for thick thighs

I wanted to love these SO much. I ordered the correct size based on the size chart but these are not for thick thigh ladies. The leg opening band itself is fine but the seam that attaches the band to the rest of the shorts has no give so it cuts in terribly. It creates not only an unpleasant sausage leg but is also very uncomfortable to ride in as my quads contract. I rode in them for 2 hours and the longer I was out, the more uncomfortable my legs were. The waist and hips fit really well, however. The fabric is nice and the padding in the saddle is great though. I bought these on sale so I can’t return them but they are virtually unusable for this thick thighed rider.
