My 4th grade son loves his new helmet. Build quality is great, much lighter than his issued helmet, fit was spot on. A little tight for the first week, but has broken in nicely.

Overall, weight product is good would like to see in the future for them to switch the facemask to titanium to reduce weight and allow for a more balanced helmet. The leadtime was kinda long, hopefully in the future, as they ramp up products that will reduce some of the lead time. Overall experience as of this far has been great. Will continue to monitor throughout the year and hopefully we’ll see a large reduction and head injuries in the small kiddos.

Great helmet

As an athletic trainer with 30 years of experience, I don't take equipment decisions lightly, especially when it comes to my own son's safety. After doing my research, I decided to go with the Light Helmet for my 8 year old, and it's been a great choice so far. The fit has been excellent from day one.
