Rain, Wind, Hail... and Everything Stayed Dry
I recently purchased the Near Zero 1P DynaLite Tent for lightweight motorcycle camping and just completed my first overnight trip with it. The tent performed exceptionally well. When we arrived at camp, I got the tent set up and shortly afterward a storm rolled in. We experienced cold temperatures, steady rain, strong winds and hail throughout the night. The DynaLite kept me completely dry and comfortable the entire time. I never experienced any leaks, water intrusion, or issues with the tent handling the weather. One feature I particularly appreciated was the vestibule. Despite being a lightweight one-person tent, the vestibule provided enough room to store my riding boots, helmet, and hydration pack while keeping them protected from the weather. That extra covered space made camp life much more comfortable during the storm. The tent packs small, weighs approximately 3 pounds on my scale, and fits well with a lightweight motorcycle camping setup. Setup was straightforward and quick, which proved valuable when the weather moved in. After spending a cold, rainy, and windy night in the mountains, I can say the DynaLite exceeded my expectations. For riders, backpackers, or anyone looking for a lightweight shelter that can handle real weather, I would confidently recommend it. Rating: 5/5 Tested in: Cold, rainy, windy overnight motorcycle camping conditions Result: Dry camper, dry gear, good night's sleep.

Excellent tent
Love this tent. Went on a weekend camping trip that turned into a muddy mess with tons of heavy rain. This tent took the weather like a champ. My gear stayed completely dry inside. The vestibule was a good place for my muddy shoes. The bug netting worked perfectly and kept out all kinds of bugs trying to get away from the rain. My only gripe would be the material used for the guylines absorbs a lot of water and stays wet for a while. I would advise replacing them with dyneema if available.

The Right Weight for the Right Price
This tent saved me 4 Lbs over my Haven Specter set up. It is very fast to set up first time was 2 minutes with color coding of poles and grommets. The poles will make it simple in the dark or under bad weather to get inside fast.
