Happy with the books, however the corner of one book was damaged in shipping. Should be shipped so that this doesn't happen.

The spiral binding is a great idea. Using this book and any book that is easier to use lying flat is so much better when spiral bound. I have friends that have written a book and are writing another - I referred them to Layitflat!

I was really looking forward to this cookbook and I really like the author. However, I found a lot of the recipes more regional to the east coast and being in the Midwest not as relative. I am sure I will use some of the recipes but will look at some of her other cookbooks to see if they are more adaptable to our region.
