I have tried your PhoenixTorch fire clay couple of times. I found it to be harder to work with and dries out faster and PMC or Art clay, which is also available

Finish has a texture that is not shiny (mat (matt?) finish) despite correct firing temp and long time in tumbler. Have to burnish for a flat, shiny surface. Also, does not re-constitute easily from unused scraps which I formed into a ball and tried to re-unite the pieces that were cut away from primary project. I do not like the fact that there is a texture to the finished surface.
