The mascara is applied very lightly due to the metal rod applicator. You won’t have to worry about over applying the mascara on your eyelashes and getting the excess smudged on your eyelids. Because the amount is applied so light, it won’t weigh down your eyelashes and uncurl them. This is my favorite mascara by far! I don’t think I’ll ever replace it for another mascara!
