As with every book of Deanne’s, when I think I possibly can’t learn anything new after my long journey of hooking rugs, I was immediately captivated by this beautiful book! The colors on each page draw you in to the possibilities of being able to capture a landscape moment in your memory and then creating it on linen with vibrancy and your own personal style. I can’t say enough about the storytelling Deanne weaves throughout the pages, the confidence she inspires with her writing and her creations of stunning rugs. I also believe that it is possible for anyone to create their own masterpiece by Deanne’s honest encouragement! She knows we all have it in our hearts to create our personal designs from our own unique stories! The pictures enveloped me not just visually but I could feel the sea breeze, smell the flowers, visit the houses. I read and savoured it from cover to cover. It will not be just a pleasant book to read but also a fantastic resource. Deanne gives insightful tips and it helped me answer questions I had which blocked me from completing a landscape rug. Hook in hand, I’m ready for new growth with this book! Loved it!!
