Instructions, both written and video

The instructions, both written and video were excellent. The rail, as we were told, would be in two pieces because of its length, 173 inches. We had to use a small sledge and oak board to drive the two halves together: simple. One drawback: the two 1/4 inch screws furnished to secure the two halves together were too short. We purchased 3/4 inch screws and all is well. A big thank you for including the 1/8 inch drill used to secure wall mounts to the rail. Worked really well.

2 piece lambs tongue iron rail

This is a good quality railing, however it does sag in the middle where the two pieces connect. We supported it with a wall bracket, but the sag is still clearly visible. I would have special ordered it all one piece instead.
