Cozy but loose strings inside

Overall I like these socks - they seem sturdy yet soft and cozy. However, I do find the loose strings inside the foot of the socks to be irritating. I suppose these are unavoidable due to the words. I trimmed them shorter and just hope that the socks hold up with that alteration.
