Parker PTABK Adjustable Shavette Razor with 7 Blades

Apart from the blade alignment issues while in the holders, it still shaves phenomenally like my carbon-steel straights, but with the upside of hot-swappable blades that you can just rinse under the sink. Downside (for me personally) is... Also the hot-swappable blades. They need to be snapped in half, and that makes it unusable back in a DE safety razor should I switch back-and-forth to reduce wasting blades (even if they're already technically dirt-cheap and I shouldn't need to, but it's a force-of-habit), though the form factor makes up much for it as shavettes made for unmodified DE blades don't look as good, nor as ergonomic to use.

The shavette is good to learn the downside it’s very light. It would work best with very light beard. As thick and stiff my beard I wouldn’t recommend it. It is reasonable priced also If you really want to get a close shave use feather blades double edge broken in half . I find those work best for me.

Only small problem is when you put in the insert it doesn’t stay put in all . It’s a good razor a little on the light side as for weight goes
