This amp is a great deal for the cost absolutely amazing otl amp with amazing value and sound is extremely good when using upgraded tubes

I ordered the ta-26s with the Ray Tubes 6ns7 select upgrade. I've never listened to the stock 6n8p tube. However, with the Ray Select tube it sounds fantastic. My HD6xx headphones finally live up to their hype, even better than the true balanced output of the DAC I used prior to the ta-26s. Increased instrument separation, greater soundstage, and an extremely low noise floor. The ta-26s pre-amp also makes my powered speakers sound better. Highly recommended, especially for the money.

Needs ground filtering
I returned this because there was not sufficient ground filtering to use with my computer. Any time I fired my computer up, I would hear a buzzing sound that correlated with how hard my computer was working. It was unusable while gaming. However when powering the dac off my phone, completely disconnected from my computer, i was quite happy with the sound. It was whisper quiet and perfectly usable with IEMs and headphones.
