Lovely looking boots but quiet heavy and stiff for my liking

Husband was looking for distressed looking shoes that were at once Peaky Blinders but also like basketball shoes and the design fit the bill perfectly. His size was no longer available but we made do with a 42 by adding an insole and tightening the laces. Sizes run pretty large - he’s a Japanese 275 but a 41 would have been his best fit. As they’re a tad larger he is now free to wear thicker socks which is fine too. Overall, absolutely no regrets, the leather and craftsmanship are beautiful if not a tad neater than pictured, but that worn in look and patina will come as time goes on.
