Very warm for a very large head!

I always have trouble finding a good warm heavyweight beanie that not only covers my head, but pulls down on my ears, because I have a very big head. This one does a great job! So much so that I can pull it down and then flip it up to give it a double layer for my ears. The Marino wool is extremely warm and does as good as a job as my Patagonia beanie which I wanted to replace. Great customer service when I called prior to finalizing my order. Very responsive. I’ll definitely be buying more from their product lines

If you want extra warmth for your ears and your head, this is it. I bought this one because I had previously bought the lightweight wool. Don't get me wrong. It's good i just need something a little bit more for extra warmth. And reasonable prices.
