Good time to be sowing asparagus seed. Need to keep the soil damp and patiently give them about 30 days to poke their heads up. Plan to leave them in their large drained tub for 12 months with plenty of fertilizer, water & sun, to allow small crown to develop.. Then out into shallow trenches in an open space so the crown can grow for another 12 months with plenty of TLC. Then into permanent beds. Will report back on progress.
