Damaged in transit

Earings were a Christmas gift, arrived late due to Royal Mail strike not your fault but the box had been squashed. I wrapped them up stupidly without checking and when the recipient opened them one off the heads was not attached to the back. I assumed it got damaged at the mail sorting office. Apart from this i have seen a picture and they look adorable.
