Nurge wooden (Beechwood) hoops are the best in the world! you just need to hold one in your hand to be convinced, all I'm saying.
these hoops are 8mm (0.3") in depth. width measurements are taken from the outer edges of the inner hoop.

My best tension ever in 50 plus years
Hi and thank you so much for my Nurge hoop. Up until now I’ve always used cheap ones so as soon as it arrived I just had to put my project in it and what a difference. I was able to get the best tension I’ve ever had. From now on all of my old hoops will be going to charity.
