I bought this item because I was in need of 2 custom-sized mats (one for my own photo and another as a gift). Looking back I wonder if I had just bought larger mats and cut them to size myself, maybe I'd feel better about the purchase, since the cuts along the inner "display" area left a bit of a rip in the corners, and one of the mats was slightly bent which was unfortunately very visible with the metallic finish. However, you get what you pay for and I don't know that I could get any better for more cost.
