Routine High Waisted Shorts

I took these out today for a 20-miler- on a hope and a prayer that they wouldn't chafe. They did not. They also didn't ride up even though there are no silicone grippies on the legs. To be fair, I was very sweaty and that might have contributed to the legs staying in place. The waist was sliding down with my phone, one key, and a gel flask in the pocket, but after I tied the drawstring, that wasn't an issue. What WAS an issue though is getting that drawstring untied when I needed to use the bathroom- definitely don't wait until the last second because it was a bit of a mission. I ordered the brown and was surprised to find that they only mildly show sweat (the inside was soaked but you could only barely see it on the outer layer). I'm 5'6, 140 lbs and carry most of my weight in my belly. I ordered L but could definitely size down to M and maybe even small. I think I'm going to get the black in a M. Also- no front seam which is awesome.

Love these shorts!

I ran in my new shorts this morning, and I love them so much. The fabric is buttery soft, the pockets are the full length of the shorts, and they didn't move at all, even when I was running strides. I'll definitely be ordering more colors. I can't wait to use these on my long runs, because the shorts will hold so many gels and salt tabs.
