Wooby Hoody • GEN3 Jungle Tiger Stripe

Nice woobie hoodie. Unfortunately I can't give it 5 stars because it only say designed in the USA and not MADE IN THE USA. There's no tag telling me what country it's made in so I will automatically assume it was made in China like almost all of them are made in. Bit of a letdown but overall, it's a good hoodie just way overpriced for something that isn't MADE IN THE USA.

Great initial impressions

Good fabric and pattern. Solid construction. Thoughtful design. No unnecessary bells and whistles. Quite respectable bulk-weight-warmth ratio. Decent wind resistance (not a wind layer but better in the role than anticipated). Temps in my area have ranged from 4 to 40F since this arrived. So far it's been suitable as a primary insulation layer (in conjunction with base/mid layers, and a wind or rain layer, as applicable) down to around freezing, or slightly above, while out and about (active) in the day. Haven't tested it sitting still long term in the cold. YMMV, I have relatively high cold tolerance. Would be nice if the inner pockets were set a bit closer to chest height, as it's awkward to retrieve their contents in their current configuration, but that's my only "complaint." I normally wear XL stuff (6'3", 235lbs), and I'm glad I heeded the advice of others to order a size up. 2XL is perfect for a slightly roomy fit to trap enough air without it feeling or looking baggy.
