Its a step up, for sure. The Gen 4 is the Rolls Royce if wooby hoodies, in my opinion. I cant wait to order more, because Im a wooby hoarder. For fun.

Wooby Hoody Black Gen 4

Male, 6’1, ~185lbs, athletic build. Large fits great. Tried a medium and slightly tight in the arms / pits area. Mild warmth (but that is understood) bc it’s the blanket version of our military woobie. Very comfortable, inner pockets and hand pockets. The tail of the jacket could use a slight length adjustment. I get the Velcro is for a patch, but I think that could be slightly smaller bc it really sticks out. Overall, love the jacket, well made. Would buy again.
