The install was straightforward and pretty painless. Having the Sirius receiver already attached and wired to the radio as well as the faceplate installed was a big help. I also really like the way all of the spare parts not needed for the install were in a separate bag and labeled not needed for installation and the parts that were needed were in a bag labeled needed for installation, smart idea and a time saver. Even with having to rip out a previously installed after-market head unit, this Alpine unit went in like a breeze and sounds fantastic! Great product and great installation video. Hadn't messed with replacing car stereos since HS in the early 90's and this was much easier. Thanks - I will be back if needs be. Erik
