A good solution

I recently bought a Trek Starvos helmet. Due to the design, none of my GoPro mounts would span the central vent. The Wide Helmet Mount Base does. Thanks Outdoor Lighting.

Very helpful for mounting lights

A lot of helmets have vents that don't let you use the normal adhesive mounts. This product spans the vent gaps.
