Years ago, I consistently used a Roman Chair for hyper extensions, and my back was great. I moved 2x and fell out of the habit, then gave it to one of my sons. Of course, my lower back deteriorated. I picked this up locally in Indy, and the back extensions were great. Reverse hypers were always uncomfortable - in fact, I sold my Westside Barbell reverse hyper because they weren't great and it wasn't very stable. By contrast, the Reverse Hammer is a rock and doesn't move an inch. Plus, the full extension that I get by adjusting the footplate/hand grips further back puts my lower back in exactly the right position for reverse hypers. After 3 weeks, my lower back feels rock solid, and I'm progressing in sets, reps, and weight. I'm 67, and it's also easy to get in and out of. I wish I'd gotten off my rear end earlier and bought this several years ago. Great machine at a great price. My back thanks you, BOS.

Purchased after extensive research and not disappointed

I was prepared to purchase a more expensive alternative (you know ), but saw reviews on the Reverse Hammer, and decided to pull the trigger. It's the real deal. I am a big dude and what I am most impressed by is how solid this is. Lots a steel makes me feel as though this will last a long time. Because the wheels, I could actually move this around my gym by myself (unlike some other brands).
