We use this canvas cabin at our family camo in
We use this canvas cabin at our family camp in the Adirondacks. There is never enough sleeping space when all our families are up there. We have 2 sets of adult size bunk beds with matts on the cots, set up in the cabin with plenty of room for an air mattress and dog kennel! The cabin is very comfortable and enjoyed whether a whole family stays in it or by the teen cousins who want to play music/board games and stay up talking all night! This is our 2nd Kodiak 12x12 canvas cabin. The first one lasted 5 years but keeping in mind that it is set up from May 31st until September 1st in a wooded area, we felt it was a good deal. This time we are planning on keeping a tarp over the top of the cabin to keep sap and tree debris off the roof.

I have had a 12 x 12 and 12 x 20 Alaknak tents for years. I am excited to have a true canvas tent now. The only thing about the cabin is the roof height. I wish it had taller side walls to make it feel like the space of the Alaknak tents. That high peak in the Alaknak made it possible to walk around upright in more of the floor space. I really like the quality of the Kodiak Cabin and feel like it will give years of service.

Kodiak Tent 12x12
The overall tent was great well constructed. No major imperfections or issues. Setup was easy straight forward. But for the casual hunting trips I make I think this is perfect for me and my wife. I do wish there was a fly options similar to the ground tarp for added protection.
