Good chocolate but almonds taste stale even though Best Buy date is 1/26

The almond pieces are very large. They're on top of the chocolate, not mixed inside. I really enjoyed this bar. The almonds are yummy, and the chocolate pairs well, fudgy and dark. On its own the chocolate isn't super flavorful, it's a more subtle earthy flavor with a hint of mushroom, but it pairs very well with the toffee!

I tend to stick with straight chocolate bars but occasionally experiment. Wow! This will leave you smiling and pleased with your purchase. The flavors dance in a superb collaboration of flavors. The chocolate is just wonderful in flavor. But the toffee unexpectedly embellishes it with such a delightful crescendo. Standing ovation from me. Try it. You'll like it.
