I was expecting it to have a wider seating area becaise i sleep in it.

Sorry to say I was very disappointed in the size of the chair. We were used to a much Heavier chair. We had a Pride Lift chair much larger and heavier. This would make a great chair for a woman. This one slides all over the floor. Does not have a correct description of actual chair. Now I have to get another one.

Arrived timely with excellent assembly instructions. I use all features of this well designed chair.
