AeroStretch Massage Edition Power Leather Reclining Sofa with Adjustable Headrest

I had logical thoughts about the risks I was taking on by spending thousands on a large, three piece sofa that I was at the disadvantage of not being able to test for comfort.  Reading nearly all the reviews played a very important part of getting to know what I was getting into.  The reviews will educate you and help you make your decision. So, read as many as it takes. I will add my 0.02 cents. The color was a big concern and on both my computer screens this sofa showed up as a shade brighter toward the orange color than toward the brown spectrum that it actually is.  It is still actually in the burnt orange range though and I expected this going in.  I hunted the internet for about 2 years now for the perfect leather recliner sofa in Hunter or Kelly Green but this does NOT exist on planet earth.  Not even on custom order. Most of the other reviews answered nearly all my important concerns: Assembly was easy especially if you even passively read the directions and watch a vid or two. Being a wall hugger is important. In my experience my sofa must be placed 4" away from the wall divider stair railing in my living room. Any closer than 4" away and the headrests steal will clank against the railing divider.   The leather matching quality VS the pleather match is well done and I can not tell that half the sofa is fake leather. Well done.  The comfort level is not as pillow like or cozy as my old cloth and synthetic stuffed Laine sofa, but it seems much better for my posture and with a custom pillow or two, almost any position and comfort is achievable.   There is less airborne dust with leather Vs cloth stuffed sofas. This sofa can stop at all the in between positions. That is a nice advantage at the touch of a button. The motor speed needs to be increased to be about 1/3 faster though.  It takes a while to get moving to where you want it to recline to. Mechanical recliners are much quicker. The options of the headrests and massage package are two options I'm very glad that I included. The massage is on a three button toggle switch that seems to follow two settings of variables that result in still giving you a gratifying massage after timing out in 15 minutes.  The massage is not a vibrating style but a fist-like air pressure in the four quadrants of the upper and lower back. I'm glad I went for it. I would buy the option package again.  The headrests are stylish and I found them to be way too overstuffed to be comfortable as shipped but they are nicely furnished with zippers that allow adjustment of stuffing and the height is manually adjustable to fine tune your comfort preferences. One major concern is shipping; As I read through many reviews I saw that it is inevitable that things happen in shipping but it seems Aliving always made it right in the end with little complaints.  My experience from the receiving end is:  Aliving gets 5 Stars.  I opened three boxes that were very well packaged and I saw many signs that much care was taken to avoid any potential problems.  These boxes are big and awkward and heavy.   I needed a hand cart to get them upstairs to my living room in my raised ranch style home. Sofa surfaces were bonneted in protective cloth and plastic linings. Inner box parts were fastened down so they would not fly around in shipping. Box corners were reinforced for overall outer box strength in shipping.  Lots of foam protective sheathing everywhere needed. This all added up to top notch grades in three big boxes that showed up after about three days and in two shipments only about 1 hour apart. Shipping and packaging gets six stars if I could. Well done. Overall, after owning this sofa for only about a month, I would buy this very sofa again.  Good Luck in your decision.  Charles Youngs

I was pleasantly surprised when I got my couch delivered The quality is unquestionable and the price was more amazing that I could hope for after shopping around locally and wanting to support local furniture stores but this deal was far too good to pass up The quality is awesome The comfort is awesome and the massage works better than I expected I am completely happy with my purchase.

Absolutely exceeded all of our expectations, which were high coming in. Exceptionally well designed. Economics, second, then the quality of the parts and the leather are just exceptional, exactly what we wanted. It was a big risk ordering the couch without having the opportunity to sit on it, so pleased!
