Great smell, strong enough to keep my new vest fresh but not over powering. My hand-me down vest was not very well taken care of. It three separate machine washes to make it tolerable, however after the third wash I applied this stuff to it and voilà. It did the trick. My new vest however has smelled great since it was issued. I work in corrections and don't have to wear my issued vest often. However, as a firearms instructor I'm responsible for making sure all staff are qualified with the weapons we use. This year, for 13 days straight, I was at the outdoor range with no A/C at all, from 8am to about 5pm, and it was HOT, then rainy, then HOT again. That vest of mine got stinky.
