Flavorful, Bold and strong, just as I like it

Coffee roast date was June - over 3 months old

Received coffee roast date was June 3... carbon dioxide was essentially fully vented in storage. Resulting shots had low and flat crema and flavor profile was low in complexity and did have meaningful bitter robusta bean profile prevail in a range of temperature and grind sizes. Was able to extract some sweetness at approximately 88C brew chamber temperature at 8 bars coming down to 5 and somewhat coarser grind setting to minimize bitterness
