Nicoletti Coffee “Original” Espresso Roast Beans 2.20lb (Made in Brooklyn NY since 1972) Fresh Roasted with date stamp

Fresh, smooth and excellent crema. Just not what I was looking for.

The beans were very fresh. It was easy to dial in the grind for a perfect shot with outstanding crema. The taste was excellent, smooth and. It bitter with a nice backdrop chocolate flavor. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 was because I was wanting it to be (or hoping it would be) a little bolder (my personal preference). I think many of my friends will love this.

The taste of the coffee is decent but it doesn’t have a typical coffee smell. Smell resembles chicken which is odd to say. I’m used to a dark roast and this is medium/light so maybe that’s why. Hopefully the dark tastes/smells better.

Awesome coffee - I wish it came in 5 lb bags :)
