Excellent and interesting read!

I really enjoyed reading the history of this store. The owners seemed to really care about their staff. Unlike today’s world. I only wish the book had lasted longer.

Great book for Lancaster History

I’m pleased with this book and its history. I got it for my 94 year old mother and we all grew up with Watt and Shand . She really enjoyed the memories and the history

I was interested in this book because I grew up in Lancaster and my mother worked at Watt & Shand for a good many years. I have fond memories of the downtown store. I think that this book could have used a good editor to improve it. Sometimes the topic seemed to get lost a bit. An editor could have improved the flow of the narrrative.
