Artichoke Seeds - Green Globe

Much easier to grow than other artichokes!

I've grown artichokes for about ten years now, and most other growers tell you that you have to stratify the seeds in the refrigerator first, a long process. But these seeds from Eden Brothers sprouted quickly inside in a pot; I let them stay inside for about eight weeks, and transplanted them outside two weeks ago (I have to cage young plants because of all the wildlife that comes through my yard), and they're doing very well! Can't wait to taste the final products. Thanks, Eden Brothers!

High germination rate, sturdy & vigorous seedlings

These grew so quickly they took me by surprise. My bad was not ready & I gave to a neighbor who had space for them. I’ll be starting more after I’ve got my bed ready & dog-proofed.

Artichoke

zone 4 is tough for artichokes. Great leaves so for but nothing else. Not really expecting much. Just fun to see what happens.
