My New Go-To shoe

A few months ago I purchased these shoes to work out in. What I found in the rough runners is a great all a round shoe that excels in every situation. It provides the stability of a boot and the comfort of a running shoe. I have worn these on travel to Europe, running a 5K in Portugal, climbing the hills of Portugal, chasing after kids along trails in Montana, and continuing to ruck and work out weekly. These shoes are well constructed and have almost no wear on them to date. I highly recommend the shoe based on the quality and superior craftsmanship. I also recommend ordering a half size bigger so that your foot has space to flex during long runs.

Good Shoe, Good Value

These shoes are comfortable and true to size. I generally have issues with the toe box of a workout shoe not being wide enough, but had no such problems with these. Build quality is good, and I look forward to seeing how they hold up over the long haul.

Outstanding shoes for seniors who think they’re 35.

This is my fifth pair of shoes from GORUCK. IM 71 years old and my body feels every year. My rucking has slowed down considerably but I keep up with walking 5 days a week. Recently I twisted my ankle and the recovery has set me back. What use to take days or weeks to recover from turned into months. I went to my local running store and was fitted with a very nice pair of joggers. These are made by a very respectable company and get consistently high reviews. At first they felt great, lots of padding which my ankle appreciated. But after two weeks I didn’t like the bouncy, unstable feeling. I saw the Rough Runners were on sale and bought a pair. Like all the GORUCK shoes I’ve bought, they felt good right out of the box. Stable, comfortable, and good looking. No more feeling like I’m walking on marshmallows, these have enough cushion to be comfortable but I’m more connected to the ground giving me more confidence to increase my mileage. Getting old is hard work and these shoes help me keep up my physical fitness. I just have to convince GORUCK to come out with a senior program; perhaps GORUCK gold!
