Nice looking, nice quality, Very small sizing

I purchased the shoe - happy with the quality and feel of the shoe, the design and the padding. I would say it feels a bit more towards a casual wear shoe than a gym/running style (but maybe that's personal preference). Unfortunately, the sizing isn't what I expected (of course after checking the sizing chart and ordering appropriately) in terms of both length and width. Purchased size 45, and could barely put it on the first time - my feet scrunched up unnaturally inside. I thought they may expand a little after wearing them and walking/running with them somewhat (several weeks of full wear with about 40km combined walking/running per week) - and there has indeed been a little bit of expansion, but not enough. For comfort I would have to purchase at least 2 sizes larger, if not 3 sizes larger. It would be handy to have some sort of standardisation of shoe sizing between brands - or even a cutout/true size printout of the inner of the shoe so you can print it out and test at home if this size is actually correct. Anyhoos, will try again with a much larger sizing in the future.
